Kat Dennings One Of The Top 99 Women of 2012

Kat Dennings has ranked #30 on the AskMen.com annual poll of top 99 women for 2012!

When nude cell-phone pics of this full-lipped, full-hipped 25-year-old actress leaked in late 2010, all of our sneaking suspicions that she just might have the best rack in Hollywood were confirmed. But all the extra attention that’s since been paid to her bombshell proportions can’t be sitting well with the self-proclaimed “weirdo,” who’s been known to shun her sex symbol status. Still, Dennings’ CBS sitcom, 2 Broke Girls is a bona fide ratings hit among women who like big laughs and men who like big… laughs.

New Scoop On “2 Broke Girls” From TCA Panel

TVLine.com has put together some important news and scoop from the CBS TCA panel which happened today, and a lot involves “2 Broke Girls”!

* 2 Broke Girls: Series creator Michael Patrick King made no apologies for the show’s low-brow humor during a needlessly combative, painfully tense, frequently awkward 25-minute tussle with reporters. “The show is sophisticated and naughty and I think everyone likes a good naughty joke,” he argued. “I feel no need to pull away from the brand of 2 Broke Girls, which is basically ballsy, in your face and hopefully funny.”

* 2 Broke Girls: Don’t look for Max and Caroline to get a sudden influx of cash and open their dream cupcake bakery anytime soon. “One of the important realities of 2 Broke Girls is the word broke,” said King. “And we try to deal [realistically] with how much money moves through their life. I don’t foresee a way the girls could raise $350,000 in a season [and open a bakery]. I don’t foresee them leaving the diner. I like them in the diner.”

* 2 Broke Girls: Regarding the at times very strong chemistry between Max and Caroline, King said, “We make nothing but jokes about [lesbians]; we’re building a love story, not a sexual love story.”

* 2 Broke Girls: Elaborating on the previously announced cast of Jennifer Coolidge, who makes her debut on Jan. 16, King said, “[She] is joining us for a whole bunch of episodes playing a character named Sophie Kerchinsky, a hard-working Polish woman who lives upstairs [from Max and Caroline].”

Kat Dennings Named One Of TV’s 11 Funniest Ladies in 2011

Kat Dennings has been named #7 on the list of TV’s 11 Funniest Ladies in 2011 from AOL!

7. Kat Dennings, ’2 Broke Girls’

2011 was a big year for Kat Dennings — not only did she score all the best lines in Marvel’s blockbuster movie ‘Thor,’ her CBS sitcom ’2 Broke Girls’ became the #1 new comedy of the season. As grouchy Max, Dennings often steals her scenes with deadpan delivery and a self-deprecating zinger, and her crotchety ‘tude provides a perfect foil for Beth Behrs’ perky patter.

’2 Broke Girls’ Gets Full-Season Order

No surprise here: CBS’ breakout hit 2 Broke Girls has received a full-season order.

I hear CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler personally broke the news to the cast and crew at the comedy’s table read this morning. 2 Broke Girls, co-created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings and starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, ranks as the highest-rated new series this season among adults 18-49. The pickup makes it 2-for-2 for Cummings, whose new NBC comedy series Whitney got a back-nine order yesterday.

“Two Broke Girls” Information & Photos

Earlier today, CBS announced its Fall 2011 schedule and released some photos featuring their new series. One of the new shows featured was “Two Broke Girls” which stars Kat Dennings!

“Two Broke Girls” is scheduled to air on Monday nights at 8:30 PM this fall on the CBS network.

TWO BROKE GIRLS is a comedy about two young women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner who strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business – if only they can raise the cash. Sassy, streetwise Max (Kat Dennings) works two jobs just to get by, one of which is waiting tables during the night shift at the retro-hip Williamsburg Diner. Sophisticated Caroline (Beth Behrs) is an uptown trust fund princess who’s having a run of bad luck that forces her to reluctantly give waitressing a shot. At first, Max sees Caroline as yet another in a long line of inept servers she must cover for, but she’s surprised to find that Caroline has as much substance as she does style. When Caroline discovers Max’s knack for baking amazing cupcakes, she sees a lucrative future for them, but they first need to raise the start-up money. While they save their tips, they’ll stay at the restaurant, working with Oleg (Jonathan Kite), an overly flirtatious Russian cook; Earl (Garrett Morris), a 75-year-old kool-kat cashier; and Han Lee (Matthew Moy), the new, eager-to-please owner of the diner. Working together, these two broke girls living in one expensive city might just find the perfect recipe for their big break. Michael Patrick King (“Sex and the City”) and writer-comedian Whitney Cummings (“Chelsea Lately”) are executive producers for Warner Bros. Television.

I have updated our photo gallery with 2 photos of Kat Dennings from the show! There is 1 promotional photo and 1 production still from the pilot episode.
